FAQs About CLP

The First FAQs about CLP Published by ECHA.

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has published first frequently asked questions (FAQs) on classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) Regulation to help companies fulfill obligations under the regulation.

This FAQ document has been agreed by and between the correspondents of the national helpdesks of the Member States, representatives of the European Commission and the European Chemicals Agency within the Helpdesk Network.

The questions and answers in the document present general situations and provide context information to assist those who do not have a detailed knowledge on CLP to comply with the EU CLP Regulation.

CLP is an independent legislation even though it is closely linked to REACH regulation. It is important that companies comply with both regulations.
